Nigel directs for Upstage Theatre Company, and has directed Stuart Brayson's new musical Jimmy Mac for the Isle of Man TheatreFest. He has just completed directing The Students Showcase for The London College of Music.
As an actor, his West End credits include;
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Cats ( Skimbleshanks), The Boyfriend (Alphonse), Call Me Madam, Mr Cinders, The Devil and Jabez Stone, Is There Life After High School? (Joel) and Me and My Girl. Repertory and touring productions include; Stepping Out (Geoffrey), Cabaret (Emcee), Risky Kisses (Fred Astaire),Mr Cinders (Lumley), Salad Days (Troppo), Godspell (Jesus), Annie (Rooster) and leading roles in Tommy, Benny Greens ‘Regards to Broadway’, Around the World in Eighty Days, Tilly and The Fantastiks . He has toured the world (twice) with with The Stadium Theatre Company and toured America with the restoration comedy Love in a Village. Music Hall credits include work with the Paper Moon Theatre Company and at the famous Players Theatre in London. Nigel's film appearances include Les Miserables and The Parole Officer and has recently been working on the new Will Ferrell movie Holmes and Watson. His many Pantomimes include a run at the O2 Theatre playing The Emperor of Peking opposite Paul O'Grady as Lily Twanky in Aladdin. Nigel enjoyed being in the West End and touring productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, playing the roles of The Childcatcher and the comedy spy Goran. He has also appeared with the International vocal group The Westenders, and as MC in the touring production of Strictly Burlesque.
He played Kevin in Opera Della Luna's production of The Ghosts of Ruddigore, and Mayor Knotts in a workshop performance of Hoods the Musical directed by Craig Revel Horwood at the Arts Theatre in London.
