Born and bred in the northwest of England, Natalie is an award-winning filmmaker who splits her time between the North and London. Her debut short film 'Today is a Good Day (2018)' and follow up shorts '#brunch (2019)’, 'Road Trip (2022)' and ‘A Christmas Tale (2023)’ are all award-winning films and have screened at over 50 international film festivals, including BAFTA & BIFA qualifying, and have gained her 18 Wins and 14 Nominations. Her 2023 short film ‘The Eagle's Gift' was a boundary-pushing narrative drama - combining both the 16mm Film and Digital formats, varying aspect ratios, and shifting between stereo to 5.1 audio - all to lend itself to the story and the journey of the character.
Natalie is in postproduction of two high-concept short films, which will be proof of concepts for feature length films that she's currently developing the scripts of; one being a Children’s Fantasy-Adventure about a girl who escapes the school bullies by hiding away in an abandoned house but, in there, discovers a different kind of escapism where she learns that bravery and courage was always within her... With the second film being a Supernatural Thriller about a frustrated reporter who delves into the darkest corners of his remote village, where no local people dare go, in an attempt to get his 'big' story.
With nearly a decade of working for Film & TV companies, including Amazon Studios, Working Title, Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios, Natalie specialises in postproduction and, alongside this, has been honing her craft as a Writer/Director over the past seven years. Armed with technical knowledge across both Production and Post, Natalie continually seeks to challenge herself and grow as a filmmaker in both her approach to writing and also the technical & creative elements of making a film, while all of her films retain common ground of telling raw and honest human stories that resonate with global audiences.
During this time, Natalie has been writing feature screenplays. She's also currently writing a historical WW1 drama based on a true story, and has two further features at treatment stage; one being an Action-Thriller that challenges the morals of the documentary filmmaker and, the other, a Psychological-Triller about a twin who gifts her life to her sister who deserves a second chance.
Natalie was recently selected for BAFTA Connect 2025, championing new and emerging creatives in the Film & TV industry.
